Because, we are at war! This war rages around you, is about you, and is even in you! This war is real. Its ancient, multi-dimensional, and deadly beyond all comprehension. Its battles are rarely publicized and its victims are seldom memorialized. Its generals graduate from secret societies and its captains are trained in the ivory halls of academia. This is as much a war of attrition as it is a war of commitment and the focus of this conflict centers on one thing and one thing only: truth! Truth is both the ultimate prize and the first causality. Beyond it, nothing else is worth fighting for; not justice, not peace, not even love.
Now how could love be worth fighting for when we are told its nothing more than a biochemical reaction inside a seven-pound chunk of grey matter? How can all of our desires: the way we feel about our grandparents, our children, our pets, our childhoods, our pastimes, our feeling about our deepest memories, or the greatest capacity of our emotional being, all be reduced to a mere interaction of molecules and the pulse-firings of neurons? How could there ever be such a thing as peace in a world said to be designed by random chance and ordered under the law of survival of the fittest no matter the cost? That’s not peace; it’s tyranny.
How could there be justice in a world where there is said to be no absolute truth beyond the truth we contrive; where there is no actual right or wrong; where everything is relative and morality is subject to how we feel at the moment? We have been deceived. Not only did we allow ourselves to be indoctrinated with this lie, but we then choose to embed it so far down into the bedrock of our society that it created a tectonic shift deep in our collective psyche so that what was once clearly seen as being axiomatically false is now considered an undeniable truth. Theories are given the weight of law, while lies, that are provably false, are still taught as universally accepted truths!
We are being actively and intentionally lied to! This world is not our utopia. This is the result of what happens when truth is held hostage; when it is kidnapped by lies and deceit is allowed to go unchecked. This is what you get when those who would seek to ransom back truth are buffeted with claims of intolerance, equipped with irrational thinking, relieved by an apathetic Calvary, or worse yet, are silenced by a church that prefers the comfort of passivity rather than the discomfort of victory. No longer.
You ask, why does Operation Red Pill exist? We exist to ransom back truth by engaging major deception centers of culture and teach people to evaluate what they are being taught, told, or shown with hopes that they will learn to believe the truth and doubt the lie; not the other way around. We believe that the best response in this war is one that is biblically founded, intelligently considered, emotionally believed, and volitionally acted upon. It is our position that when engaged in a truth war, the most effective means of repelling deception is to be armed with truth.
It’s not our intent to be hostile or rude, but this war is deadly serious and so are we. It is our sincerest hope that through engagement with us, you would come to know that truth is not just under assault, nor is it a mere factual reality but it’s actually a perceivable, knowable, and relational reality that exist within the personhood of Jesus Christ. It is inside a relationship with Jesus that justice, peace, and love converge, finding their deepest meaning and greatest expression. That is what makes truth so precious and worth fighting for. The truth is, lives are at stake, families hang in the balance, the destinies of entire countries are at risk; our very existence is being brought into question. This war is real and It’s not going away. It will only get more polarizing, more pervasive, more sinister and more deadly; forcing you to a point of decision or dismissal. You’ve already been targeted and now you’ve been warned. Only question is, what will you do about it? Fight’s on!
